Overview

The MVC charger can be used with batteries of any type, voltage and capacity, at almost any temperature. The output voltage and current follow a programmed charge curve, otherwise it's possible to use the MVC as a stabilied power supply with adjustable current linit (this feature is useful to recover sulphated batteries). Standard models, basic features:

• Three phase input 220/380/480/600 Vac 50/60Hz;
• Single output, fully adjustable;
• Charge curve type IUa (ok for sealed or flooded batteries).
• On request, charge curves IUIa, WUIa, I1I2a, IU1U2a or programmable;
• Desulphation cycle;
• Digital or analog voltmeter and ammeter;
• Digital timer (0-99 hours) or mechanic (0-24 hours);
• Current generator mode;
• Power supply mode;
• Forced cooling;
• Active protection against output short-circuit, without fuses;
• Active protection against battery polarity reversal, without fuses;
• Thermal protection for all power electronic parts.
